They have already built the cabins minus septic and firefighting water tank and are using cabins so not sure why the permit, I thought permits had to be done before building

Development of buildings and works associated with an existing café

It's been discussed on a local forum. This intersection is already busy and congested. Creating more shops or business centres or units is only going to cost more money and there is already enough cafes and office buildings. People work from home that require offices.

It's been told that plans to knock down familiar houses which are heritage and even if not, they are still familiar landmarks that give our town character. To remove a pleasant area of older style buildings only to put up more new buildings in such a busy part of town is going to be chaos. Parking, foot traffic, vehicles, prams, crossing lights will be needed there is more money. More hazards. An indication the developers don't care about safety there is a fence that blew over at a near by block to 61 that has been said they want to knock it down. They haven't bothered to fix or remove the broken fence yet two people have tripped over the fence and several cars have been scraped by the fence. Nails have been caught in tyres. And after speaking to the occupants, they've already made several attempts to have it repaired. And they are still waiting for approval. If people do not care for the small things, why would they for the big things. Just a quick buck to be made if you ask several of us.
