I have no problem with 4 units to be built on this site. My objection is the address the plan wants to use as the entrance (Grantham Road) The actual address of this project is 470 Lower Plenty Road. WHY do they always insist that our already busy street is required as the entrance and exit??? We have on, many occasions told Council of our concerns regarding lack of safe parking, having to zig-zag our way up and down the street especially the top end near Martin's lane. The street is currently used as a rat run for the school drop off and pick-ups, as well as school buses in the morning. No problem if the units are facing the street address, 470 Lower Plenty road--- With No entrance or exit into our already busy street. It is a quick fix for the developers to make money and leave the residents with an already dangerous and unacceptable parking situation. Lower Plenty road has many units on it, from start to finish and Grantham has NONE, why do they think we would welcome units in our street. Build them in Lower Plenty road "NO ENTRY OR EXIT" in Grantham road.

Seems to being a lot of work going on at the site, residents have not been notified of a permit being granted for approval of the units??
I’ve spoken to a few people who objected and no body has been told that approval given??
