This proposal is ridiculous considering the beautiful list location.

Surely a more suitable location for such a use can be found elsewhere.

Both batching plants in this area must surely be on borrowed time. When previous applications were made for extensions of time/area there were numerous objections and the issue went before the State Administrative Tribunal. At that time I believe SAT allowed a 5 year extension of time.
This area is no longer suited to such industries as it is now primarily clean commercial and residential and it is contrary to the current Government/Local Government near and inner city planning for the future.
This type of industry belongs in a dedicated industrial area.
