- CANCELLED - Replacement of existing asbestos cement roof sheeting at 18 Ellement Parade, Coogee WA 6166 with new Colorbond metal roof sheeting. The works include removal and lawful disposal of the existing asbestos cement roof sheeting by a suitably licensed asbestos removal contractor, and supply and installation of new Colorbond roof sheeting, gutters, flashings, downpipes, fascias/barge boards, roof fixings and associated weatherproofing. The works also include installation of engineered roof tie-downs/hold-downs to the existing roof structure as required for the change from heavier asbestos cement sheeting to lighter Colorbond roof sheeting. Tie-down/bracing works are to be undertaken in accordance with the structural engineer’s certified details. No change is proposed to the existing roof pitch, roof dimensions, building footprint or external elevations, other than replacement of roof covering and associated roof plumbing/fascia/barge components.
