The driveway that once serviced 3 Torresdale Court is now redundant given the earlier consolidation of that property with 32 St Georges Road. An agreement has been struck between both land owners to transfer that part of the former driveway from 3 Torresdale with 5-7 Torresdale by a NICO subdivision. The carriageway access is no longer required and no lot benefits from it, the permit also seeks removal of that now redundant carriageway easement. We note that the amount of land proposed to be transferred between the owners is 214sq.m. This is about 6.5% of the total combined site area. The value of this land will be less than the scheduled Public Open Space levy, making the whole proposal infeasible if a levy was to be imposed.
