179 Centre Road Bentleigh VIC 3204

Description
The Proposal involves the external alteration of the ground floor shopfront at the Site, comprising the removal of the existing glass block infill panel and its replacement with a clear float glass shopfront window measuring approximately 3.9 metres wide by 2.26 metres high, set within a black powder-coated aluminium frame. The Proposal also includes the replacement of the existing timber-framed glass entry door with a matching black powder-coated aluminium-framed glass door. In addition to the shopfront works, the Proposal includes the installation of business identification signage comprising: a decal sign applied to the shopfront window measuring 1,700mm wide by 625mm high; a decal sign applied to the entry door measuring 400mm wide by 200mm high; a new sign face covering the existing awning measuring 5,800mm wide by 400mm high; and the replacement of sign panels within the existing suspended light box beneath the awning. No new sign structures are proposed — the awning and light box are existing elements, and the Proposal is limited to the application of signage to those surfaces.  A full Description is in the attached Town Planning Report.
