179 Centre Road Bentleigh VIC 3204
- Description
- The Proposal involves the external alteration of the ground floor shopfront at the Site, comprising the removal of the existing glass block infill panel and its replacement with a clear float glass shopfront window measuring approximately 3.9 metres wide by 2.26 metres high, set within a black powder-coated aluminium frame. The Proposal also includes the replacement of the existing timber-framed glass entry door with a matching black powder-coated aluminium-framed glass door. In addition to the shopfront works, the Proposal includes the installation of business identification signage comprising: a decal sign applied to the shopfront window measuring 1,700mm wide by 625mm high; a decal sign applied to the entry door measuring 400mm wide by 200mm high; a new sign face covering the existing awning measuring 5,800mm wide by 400mm high; and the replacement of sign panels within the existing suspended light box beneath the awning. No new sign structures are proposed — the awning and light box are existing elements, and the Proposal is limited to the application of signage to those surfaces. A full Description is in the attached Town Planning Report.
