The area has already lost so much of its green canopy trees, this further removal should not be allowed. The Architect should be challenged to design a home or townhomes to work around the existing landscape. Simply removing any tree which is in the way is not a suitable outcome any longer. The area has already been completely obliterated due to roadworks, removal of trees in our streets should not be accepted.

I agree fully with Nic’s comment.
We continually have dubious climate change initiatives shoved down our throats but when it comes to actions with real consequences they’re ignored. Removing the tree canopy is very detrimental to our climate and the native wildlife that is being diminished by lazy, poorly designed over development projects. Manningham Council must reject the reduction of our tree canopy and protect our native wildlife.
