I support this development. Leichhardt has been hit particularly hard by the Sydney housing crisis, leaving Norton Street a shadow of its former self.

This project will increase housing density, helping to address the housing shortage while breathing new life into the area. These new residents will ensure local businesses have a steady flow of customers for years to come.

The site is also ideally located, with shops within walking distance and frequent buses to the CBD, reducing the need for cars. It’s great to see this proposal, and I look forward to Norton Street returning to its former glory.
