The hills district council have always maintained strict and very limited places to consume alcohol and this has maintained the harmony, safety and character of the area and residents.
This application is in a rural residential area with high valued homes surrounding it and across the road are homes, noise, patron control, under influence of alcohol would be an issue. The other establishments that serve liquor eg the Duke - have security guards, lighting, easy parking, and a courtesy bus etc to ensure peace and patron control nd duty of care . This is not zoned for such an application and is of high community concern.
