Re- Planning Application Number: MPS/2025/918; Property Address: 6 Ilhan Lane, Brunswick VIC 3056;
Description: Use and development of the land for the purposes of a warehouse;
City of Merri-bek Senior Urban Planner Commercial Priority: Ned (Edward) Dumaresk.
I am a wheelchair-bound owner-occupier of Apt 613/11 Ilhan Lane, Brunswick VIC 3056, and I am extremely concerned about having a busy, noisy mid-rise warehouse directly opposite my east-facing apartment.
Like my neigbours in the apartment development, I am very worried about increased traffic congestion and safety issues involved in sharing a narrow laneway with the proposed warehouse.
The entrance to 11 Ilhan Lane is opposite the warehouse, and I need to safely be picked-up and dropped-off from/at this entrance. In my case, NDIS Support Workers regularly need to access 11 Ilhan Lane.
Babies, children and adults of all ages, abilities and disabilities, and cultural backgrounds will be affected.
Likewise, the noise level, inside and emitting from the warehouse, is a major concern.
Compromised air quality and cleanliness, plus the effects on native bird life are further issues of concern.
I would appreciate it if my comments could be filed on record and acted on.
Thank you, Rosie (Email: ms.rosie.middleton@gmail.com)
