Description

Remove one (1) Araucaria heterophylla (Norfolk Island Pine) in the front yard and replace with two (2) medium-sized local native tree from Council’s Development Control Plan 2022, Annexure B3-2 Tree Canopy Replacement Planting List, of minimum 45L pot size, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. At the time of inspection this tree was assessed to be in excellent health and condition. It is however positioned up against the front boundary fence that is already cracked in several places and is bowing out toward the footpath from the tree's expanding trunk and root mass. The wall is unable to be repaired with the tree in-situ as this would require a significant portion of the rootball to be cut back, potentially destabilizing the tree - this would also be a temporary measure as the tree's trunk and root plate still have the potential to significantly expand as it matures.
