As the Inner West Council wants to increase housing density this proposal wants to decrease; from dual occupancy to single dwelling. Contrary to what the DA proposal suggests the new design is not in keeping with the 2 other buildings adjacent in Schultz Street.
It would be a disgrace if the IWC agrees to the owners request to demolish a 1930s building that could be renovated to 21 century standards. I also noticed the ubiquitous swimming pool in the DA even although the Dawn Fraser baths are a 5 minute walk away. This proposal should be rejected.
