Hello,

I am a local resident writing to raise some concerns about the proposal.

At present, no documents are available to view on the Council website showing which trees are proposed to be removed. This makes it difficult to understand the impact of the works. I am particularly concerned about the very large tree along the front fence, which I believe should be retained, along with other existing trees, as they contribute significantly to the streetscape and character of the area.

I have also noticed that demolition appears to be well underway, with most of the house gone and some trees already cleared, which is concerning while the application is still under consideration.

I feel these matters should be properly reviewed before any further progress is made.

Thank you for considering my concerns.

Its Bayside council !
All those brown paper bags being passed under the table.
They are all corrupt.

It is unfortunate that such a nice home sits on such an enormous block.

Bayside council needs to develop some restrictions around heritage homes. Whilst tired and needing a little love this is a beautiful home and the proposed property will be a complete juxtaposition.

Soon there will be no homes of this vintage and charm in our area. A duplex of this calibre does not solve any housing issue. Surely our developer will be seeking north of $3m per duplex which puts it out of the reach of most people. If we were creating 6 villas it would be an easier pill to swallow.

I do agree we need more information as to what trees are being cleared and would reasonably demand new ones be planted.

Hello there,
I’m writing as a concerned resident of Bexley.

I'm concernwd with the DA approval with Bayside council, there is NO mentioned with the demolition of this grand federation home, the only mention the the DA is the removal of 3 trees. How can this been approved without submitting and having our say on this development? The house has nearly been removed without any approval ?
