I see quite a lot of these developments throughout the greater Sydney area and something that bothers me is the lack of off street vehicular parking. Our local roads, streets and kerbs are already congested so potentially doubling the local population has the effect of greatly increasing that number of cars traversing those roads and parking along the kerbs. Mind, every bedroom has the potential of a vehicle with 2 for the master, resulting in 5 vehicles to a 4 bedroom home. Also there is the possible need to house a box trailer, caravan, jetski, boat, etc. Now doubling the number of houses may be good for council revenue, so what are the councils proposing to make the passage throughput our areas due to these additional vehicles???
