The owner of this land is currently going through liquidation and subdividing the land would be in violation of Section 588FG(2) of the Corporations Act 2001. The owner is attempting to diminsh the value of the companies assets in order to avoid paying certain creditors. I believe the approval of this application should not proceed based on the information above.
