Existing permit allows: Use of the land as a food and drinks premises (tavern), buildings and works including a two storey building with internal mezzanine and rooftop deck, the sale and consumption of liquor, internally illuminated signage and a waiver of the car parking and loading bay requirements, subject to the following permissions: - Clause 34.02-1 - Use of the land as a food and drink premises (Tavern) where the floor area is greater than 100 square metres. - Clause 34.02-4 - Construct a building or construct or carry out works. - Clause 43.02-2 - Construct a building or construct or carry out works. - Clause 52.05-11 - Construct or display an internally illuminated signs that would exceed 1.5 square metres in size and be located more than 3.7 metres above the footpath level. - Clause 52.06-3 - Reduce (including to zero) the number of car parking spaces required under Clause 52.06-5 for a Tavern. - Clause 52.27 - Sale and consumption of liquor. - Clause 52.34-2 - Vary, reduce or waive any requirement of Clause 52.34-3 and Clause 52.34-4. Proposed amendments: - Amend conditions 23 (Acoustic Report) and 24 (No Live Entertainment) to allow for live music (at background noise levels). Indoor area to allow live music at background music levels. Outdoor areas to allow live music at background levels up to 11pm - with screens to the north side of the Level 1 deck to be closed after 10pm and to the north side of the Level 2 deck to 2m.
