- Partial demolition of existing structures and construction of a new building, use of the existing and new building for building product manufacturing, associated warehousing and signage. PROPOSED MODIFICATION: 1. Category 1 fire upgrades including addressing smoke exhaust plant on the roof of the existing buildings & Stage 1 Building; 2. Changes to the approved car parking numbers, layout and approved northern site entry driveway configuration; 3. Relocation of external roller shutter position to the eastern façade of the Stage 1 building; 4. Mechanical plant located on the Stage 1 building roof; 5. New make-up air louvres to the western & southern facades of the existing laminating building & Production Building; 6. New MSB location externally adjacent to the existing substations; 7. Changes to the roof line of the existing laminating building which is shown on DA drawings to be partially raised (now not proposed to be raised); 8. Location of new mechanical distribution boards located externally to the building; 9. Modified position of the Stage 1 waste storage room and pallet storage area; 10. Changes to the layout of the approved fire pump room, fire control centre and external fire storage tank, including removal of one (1) fire tank and removal of steel grillage screening around the tank; 11. Additional roof access ladder to the eastern façade of the Stage 1 building from the administration building roof; 12. Relocation of the staff amenities area from the east to the south of the admin building inclusive of a new shade structure; 13. New gas meter and enclosure located in northeastern corner; 14. Addition of future lift allocation in admin building; and, 15. Exhaust pipes added above the finished roof [s4.55(1A)].
