As a resident of this street I do not agree to turning our beautiful rural street into suburbia, all the properties in the area are large rural blocks and this would completely destroy it ! Why does every other plan of development we get to have our say but we have herd nothing of this I have spoken to every other property own in our street and they do NOT agree to this !
Please consider what this we'll do to our beautiful quiet street when allowing such a development to go ahead .
Kind regards

Dear Whitsunday Council, as a local resident of the street can we please have more info on the re-zoning of new submission/application
The first submission was ok with large rural blocks. The 2nd submission now looks like smaller blocks is this correct? !! This means our special peaceful little rural street will now have the double amount of blocks & people? Lot 23 will be now built out against the fence line.

As a long term resident of this street that bought out here for the peace and quiet as there was a certain amount of large rural blocks at which we had to pay a high price for, I am gobsmacked as to why someone wants to ruin our street and turn it into suburbia to line their own pockets and move on and wreck our quiet rural street.

This type of subdivision is a slow drift to failure. This area was developed into acerage living (by the person subdividing this land) and if we keep allowing these 1acres blocks to be accepted, next thing we know 1/2 acre blocks will become normal. To subdivide a beautiful, peaceful area of 3, 5, 7 acre blocks down to 1 acre is unacceptable. Our street has gone from a safe, quiet neighbourhood to a highway of trucks, exhaust brakes and oversized loads. Stop the money grab at others expense!

Dear Whitsunday Council,
In regards to the road extension and development on Berryhillroad. As I'm aware, the completion of the Entire subdivision is of 8 rural lots. This was approved.
The possibility of this being further cut down in size does sound alarm bells and high level of concerns.
Other than greed of all involved,
the current street dwellers have purchased here for a reason, knowing of the development of further future blocks of similar rural size.
It seams alot might be taking place behind closed doors.
Any decision to change development size impacts on -
Safety issues
Increased traffic
Road maintenance
Noise pollution
Higher population
Septic run off to name a few.
It would be a huge kick to the guts to the residents.
This should be looked at closely. I hope surrounding dwellers are considered and have some say in new possible approvals.
Kind Regards.
