Dear Kempsey Shire Council,

Big thanks to those who have vision to maximise Kempsey's strengths, including to build more housing that exhibit Kempsey's fabulous river views, such as Queen Street, South Kempsey! (Surely that too will help push up prices and give back to community and council, with land values rising! And entice more people to the area who appreciate such remarkable hinterland and rural views!)

I am familiar with Queen Street as we enjoy Playgroup at the PCYC, which also has an abundance of great activities for children, teens and adults. Queen Street is also so centrally located near Melville High and a short walk to the shops and school and early learning centres in West Kempsey. Great location for more housing, especially if more housing areas around can be revisioned and revitalised, with higher expectations for locals.

The views from Queen Street are fantastic and PERSONALLY, I THINK THE SECOND BRIDGE TO AND FROM KEMPSEY WILL BE BEST PLACED FROM QUEEN STREET TO TOZER. Whatever the decision of the council, I believe all nearby applications should be assessed in alignment with plans for a second bridge as that second bridge will be vital to Kempsey's thriving future.

Kind regards,
Rebekah Morrison
