I am strongly opposed to more short term rentals/holiday homes in the area. It's hard enough for people to find homes, and if more houses turn into holiday accommodation there will be fewer houses and an increase in homelessness in our area. We have already seen an increase in the last year with people sleeping in cars and parks around Thornlie. Why make it worse?!
If people want accommodation that is what hotels/motels are for. A family home in the middle of the suburbs should be for families to live, not to make landlords even richer.
