Very concerned about this development. I'm a resident of Jillian Place and oppose this submission based on the grounds that access and parking will be affected on an already overcrowded street. There is a constructed building at 30 Jillian Place which has five apartments and there is also another dwelling under construction at 34 Jillian Place that requires access via Jillian Place. Additionally, a daycare will be opening in November that will likely further impact the parking situation on Jillian Place regardless of the entrance to the daycare facing Evelyn Road. Now with this application that will be six newly constructed dwellings as well as a large number of townhouses at 35 Jillian Place which will use Jillian Place to access their homes. Having this volume of cars and buildings on an already narrow road will cause chaos in the longterm. The application must be reassessed for a different access route for these dwellings, or the dwellings not be allowed to be sub-divided.
