I have no issue with this. I believe the 10acreage land size is more than enough to provide adequate space between properties without bothering neighbouring properties. Trees planted along fence lines can also provide added privacy. And this approval with help keep larger vehicles off the roads and provide them with a safe, private and secure park off council roads. This also will help with road congestion keeping large vehicles from travelling too far when working in the local and city areas. Nobody like driving behind large vehicles so providing a closer park area to work sites will help keep them off tight suburban areas.
Happy to go ahead

To the Hume City Council,

I am writing to express my strong support for the application proposing a small family business to park trucks on their 10-acre property at 1395 Somerton Road. I firmly believe that this development will bring several valuable benefits to our community and contribute positively to our local economy. Here are some compelling reasons why the application should be approved:

Support for Local Entrepreneurs: Allowing the small family business to park their trucks on their own property will be a significant show of support for local entrepreneurship. It is essential to encourage and nurture small businesses as they play a crucial role in building a vibrant and resilient community.

Economic Growth: By permitting the family business to operate on their property, we can bolster economic growth in our area. Small businesses often reinvest their earnings back into the community, which can stimulate further job creation and foster a prosperous local economy.

Reduced Traffic Congestion: Allowing the trucks to park on-site will prevent the need for them to park on public roads or in residential areas. This will help reduce traffic congestion and promote safer streets for pedestrians and motorists alike.

Preservation of Green Spaces: Approving this application for a small family business ensures that the land is put to productive use without sacrificing the natural beauty and green spaces in our neighborhood. Preserving these areas is crucial for maintaining a healthy environment and preserving the aesthetic appeal of our community.

Noise and Environmental Impact: Small family businesses typically have lower noise and environmental impact compared to large industrial operations. By approving this application, we can ensure that the property is utilized in a manner that aligns with the peaceful and residential character of the surrounding area.

Property Value Stability: Allowing the family business to utilize their property for their operations will contribute to property value stability in the vicinity. A well-maintained and responsibly run business can positively influence property prices in the area and make it an attractive place to live for prospective homebuyers.

Community Engagement: Local family businesses often have a deep-rooted connection to the community they serve. By permitting this application, we can foster stronger ties between the business and residents, leading to increased community engagement and support.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that approving the application for the small family business to park trucks on their property at 1395 Somerton Road will be a boon for our community. The economic benefits, reduced traffic congestion, preservation of green spaces, and the positive impact on property values make it a well-rounded proposal that deserves our full support.

I kindly urge the Hume City Council to carefully consider the positive impacts this development will have on our community's growth and prosperity and to approve the application.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

To whom it may concern at Hume City Council,
My husband and I have no issues with the allowance of a permit for trucks to park at this property. There is 10 acres of land and is well established to allow for this business to operate.
It also keeps the congestion of the large trucks to not be parked on roads creating more safety space for traffic to move frequently as I drive on this road everyday to and from work.

We highly support for the approval of this permit to go ahead as this is a positive benefit for all truck drivers that need to park and the community traffic that travels through this area.

Thank you for your time on this matter
Kind Regards.
