I have no objection to the DA, but to the modification of the accessway through Gannett Drive.
Sandpiper/McLeod Drive were never designed to be a major thoroughfare for residents of Scotts Head.
They are designed around a sweeping bend, there are 2 turning circles/bays which include somewhat of a speed hump at each, cars are often parked each side making visibility poor, and children are often playing on them. This increases the danger within the area.
For these reasons it makes it not suitable for Gannett Drive to become the main access to half of Scotts Head which it will do should the original design be changed as per the updated DA.
