I object to having a Tattoo Parlour in Kurrajong not only because of the health risks to the recipients, but because it will attract extra traffic to our quiet and peaceful village with already limited carparking space..

I support this use of premises as a Tattoo Parlour in Kurrajong. The Village will only benefit from the additional business. It will bring more people to the area hence more people buying from the local Cafe's and Boutiques that are already there. I believe this will help the quirky village thrive. Being a Tattoo Parlour, I would assume there wouldn't be much change to the parking and traffic as there wouldn't be more than a couple of people in the shop at one time. It also may provide more local job opportunities which will help the community.
Approval of a Tattoo Parlour & Record Shop in Kurrajong would not only support the development of small business in the community, but it would also contribute to the vibrancy of the village. As a Hawkesbury resident, supporting artistic expression of local community members is important and models inclusivity to younger generations. Contrary to stereotypes, establishing a licensed Tattoo Parlour is no small undertaking, with the highest levels of hygiene being a fundamental aspect of the process. Being a frequent visitor to Kurrajong Village, I do not believe this shop would noticeably change parking and traffic conditions as only a limited number of clients could be served at one time. A family-owned, small business would reassure other small business owners that Kurrajong Village is worth the investment, which is crucial to the viability of the village into the future.
