I can not think of a more inappropriate development for this location. I live near this site and I use this route regularly. The traffic consequences of this proposal are horrendous to contemplate. I have nearly been "cleaned up'' by inattentive drivers at this junction more than once. The concentration of dwellings nearby is already extremely high and the pressure on parking in the streets and traffic flow and traffic safety will be awful.
One lockup garage space per dwelling is grossly inadequate. We all know that. People have no shed or spare rooms and they use their garage for this purpose and then they park one or two cars in the street. This location cannot accommodate this and the development should not be allowed. This is not in the interests of the people who live here now and will live here in the future. Please don't approve it.

You can't be serious building a development of this size at this location what justification do you have for doing it besides money grabbing this is a suburban street the impact on the area will be disastrous WHY ???

Ignoring the appropriateness, quality and design of these structures, there has been approval for, on suburban side streets:
1. the under-construction 3-storey dwelling on the NE corner of Gray St & Anzac Hwy; and
2. the yet-to-be commenced 2 & 3 storey multiple dwellings on the SW corner, & next door to it, on Beckman St & Anzac Highway
AND these are all located on the 50kph ‘rat run’ which is Beckman and Gray Sts.
Who could have pride in the development and planning approval of these sites?
Who will be responsible for the consequences of the suspected ongoing over-development of areas such as these at Plympton/Kurralta Park?

How will access to our own properties be maintained? This includes timely communication regarding road works, driveway access and non collection.
I live in Glenburnie tce, near Gray st, and the major inconvenience happens a lot. When I spoken to council I have been given an email for traffic management but have not had any reply of assistance apart from bin stickers!!!

I see that this project is now underway. I spoke to the demo guys and the building has a under ground carpark also, so will be lots of dust and noise he said. He said the build will be done in mid 2026. We have friends in Netherby St and tried to get there last week, couldnt get down Glenburnie St because of truck.
