This section of Lalor is already over developed with multi uni dwellings. They cause congestion in the street, are unsightly, have no greenery and no prospect of gaining new canopy. Please stop approving uni developments in this area of Lalor. I oppose this decelopment

The December 2020 City of Whittlesea Extreme Heat Sub -Plan 2021-2022 has recognised the Lalor, Thomastown and Bundoora are rated as Extremely High when it comes to heatwave vulnerability.
Yet I am receiving almost weekly email alerts about planning applications for multi-unit developments, that are almost inevitably black roofed dog boxes with almost zero green space. After viewing the area via near maps itβs probably not an exaggeration to say that these black roofed dog boxes would struggle to even fit a washing line. Stop letting embarrassing poorly designed applications get through.
