Scenic Rim Regional Council need to stand up for our environment. This area is home to a colony of vulnerable koalas. Any further extraction of materials and proposed freight of such will severely affect the livelihood of koalas and other wildlife living on the proposed extraction site and roadside trees. The State Government was the authority who deemed koalas vulnerable. That should be enough for the Scenic Rim Regional Council to argue against development.
